Audley End
April 2007
I’ve been appointed team leader on behalf of Past Pleasures for a new interpretation project for English Heritage. Audley End House in Essex has a stunning complex of C19th service offices which are to open to the public for the first time on 1st May 2008. PP has been awarded the contract to supply characters to staff the wing as if in 1881 (Sundays, Bank holidays and School holidays only though the wing itself remains open throughout). We’ll be cooking and eating C19th food, churning butter and washing the whites.
